Faculty Fellows
The Arnhold Faculty Fellowship is intended for two associate or full professors (ladder or teaching) in the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts who provide intellectual leadership for the Commons. Arnhold Faculty Fellows serve two year terms, working with the Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Teaching and Learning to establish a program that includes the following elements:
- A year long programming series focused on arts and humanities that brings students into creative and engaging discussion, doing, and making.
- A co-taught, one-quarter course (offered in Spring quarter of each fellowship year, beginning with Spring 2026) intended to serve as a pathway to the humanities and arts.
- Collaborations with Arts & Lectures, Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities, and other campus units that provide students opportunities for immersive activities and discussion about humanities and arts.
- Collaboration with the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts and the Office of Teaching and Learning to build partnerships that facilitate a diverse and inclusive pipeline for humanities and arts.
